Set of Jack Buckler “Sweet Pea” 5″ Gauge Live Steam Locomotive Castings

Description:
Offered for sale is a set of castings for the renowned Jack Buckler–designed “Sweet Pea” 5-inch gauge live steam locomotive. This is a fantastic opportunity for a model engineer or enthusiast to build one of the most popular narrow-gauge miniature locomotives.

The Sweet Pea design is well regarded for its robust performance, simplicity, and reliability, making it ideal for both newcomers to locomotive construction and experienced builders looking for an enjoyable project..

  • Cast iron cylinder castings (2 off, cast iron)
  • Front and rear cylinder covers (2 off each, cast iron)
  • Steam chests (2 off, cast iron)
  • Slide valve casting (1 off, bronze, machined and split to make 2 valves)

Additional Notes:

  • A full set of the construction articles and plans is available (soft copy) to assist the buyer with constructing this model
  • Sold as a complete set only (not splitting)
